Should fifa wc 2026 be taken as an example before LA28

The recent developments in the soon to start fifa world cup is not ideal for a sports fan, my country is not even participating in the world cup but the news coming from ground is very very concerning, even more when the world cup doesnt even have 50 nations with the olympics having more than 200, can IOC do anything to make sure nothing like this happens in LA or is any host change viable?
