Zakaria El Ouahdi wurde in Hoboken geboren und spielt als rechter Verteidiger. Er begann seine Profikarriere in Belgien und feierte seinen Durchbruch in der Jupiler Pro League. Zudem gewann er mit der marokkanischen U23-Nationalmannschaft den Afrika-Cup.
El Ouahdi ist ein dynamischer Außenverteidiger mit starkem Offensivdrang und guter Ballbehandlung. Seine Schnelligkeit und sein Einsatz machen ihn zu einer Gefahr bei Kontern, während er defensiv noch an Konstanz gewinnen muss. Er agiert als moderner Flügelspieler, der oft in die gegnerische Hälfte vorstößt.
