I'd rather United won any day of the week. I don't really care about international football.

United.

United, no question. I don't like international football, find almost all the games incredibly boring, and the only value it brings is filling in the non-club-football days of the summer. That's why the mid-season 2022 World Cup was an abomination.

Scotland winning the world cup before England repeat would be enough for me to die happy

India can’t even qualify for the World Cup! But if there is a chance, I think I’ll go for the World Cup simply because how improbable that is.

Obviously talking about the up and coming World Cup and league season. England, and I’m surprised anyone would pick a club side over their country winning the WC, just from a scarcity perspective. England have not won it for 60 years - never in my lifetime. As much as I love United, and note the very real issues with FIFA - at least with international football we don’t have anyone buying titles, and there’s far less cheating that goes on.

United. This World Cup is worthless. Just another terror-state wanting to use football to sportswash their image.

13 years ago I would have said international fans. Now most definitely, the next win will bring a tear to my eye.

India can’t even qualify for the World Cup! But if there is a chance, I think I’ll go for the World Cup simply because how improbable that is. That would mean no PL for Man United this century. You okay with that?

I'm not from there, but i'd take San Marino winning the WC over United winning the league, just for the laughs.

Honestly it depends on context. Would an England World Cup win mean more to me than if we won third consecutive league title? Probably.

For the most part, international football hasn't had the same magic for me since Zidane retired. I dont think that highly of it these days. It is largely used to build up and belittle players that suit people's agenda at a given moment. The league and cl is a much better gauge of how good players are imo.

United winning the league. Believe it or not, growing up in Canada, United was more accessible to me than our men’s national team. I could watch united games on tv but our men’s national team wasn’t on unless it was the Gold Cup and even going back a couple of years a lot of our friendlies are on some obscure streaming platform instead of the main sports channels or CBC. Even in the early 2000’s I could easily go to a sporting goods store and buy a United kit but not our national team. I love my country and want to see them do well, but I’ve loved united a lot longer than my national team and it’s mostly down to not being given an opportunity to watch games and know the players growing up.

England winning the WC in the states would be something extra special so would probably go with that.
