ParaguayMit Boca Juniors gewann er die argentinische Meisterschaft (2017/18) und die Supercopa Argentina (2018). Zudem wurde er mit der paraguayischen Nationalmannschaft Dritter bei der Copa América 2019.
Andrés Cubas ist ein paraguayischer defensiver Mittelfeldspieler, der für seine Zweikampfstärke und Balleroberungsfähigkeiten bekannt ist. Er begann seine Profikarriere bei Cerro Porteño in Paraguay und wechselte später zu Boca Juniors in Argentinien. Nach Stationen in der MLS bei Vancouver Whitecaps und in der Ligue 1 bei OGC Nizza spielt er aktuell für Vasco da Gama in Brasilien.
Cubas ist ein klassischer defensiver Mittelfeldspieler, der sich durch hohe Einsatzbereitschaft und taktische Disziplin auszeichnet.
