Bart Verbruggen is a Dutch professional goalkeeper who began his career at NAC Breda before moving to Anderlecht in 2022. He joined Brighton & Hove Albion in 2023 and quickly established himself as a promising young shot-stopper in the Premier League. Verbruggen has also represented the Netherlands at various youth levels and earned his senior national team debut in 2023.
Verbruggen is known for his excellent reflexes, shot-stopping ability, and composure under pressure. He is comfortable with the ball at his feet, making him a modern goalkeeper suited to playing out from the back. His height and agility allow him to dominate his penalty area, though he continues to develop his decision-making and command of the box.
