Carles Aleñá is a Spanish central midfielder who came through the ranks of FC Barcelona's La Masia academy. He made his first-team debut for Barcelona in 2016 and later had loan spells at Real Betis and Getafe before joining Deportivo Alavés. Known for his technical ability and vision, he has represented Spain at various youth levels.
Aleñá is a technically gifted midfielder with excellent passing range and close ball control, allowing him to dictate play from deep. He is comfortable in possession and can break lines with through balls, but his lack of pace and physicality can be a disadvantage in defensive transitions. His tactical intelligence and composure make him a reliable option for building attacks.
