Van de Beek won three Eredivisie titles (2017–18, 2018–19, 2020–21) and the KNVB Cup with Ajax, and was named in the 2018–19 Eredivisie Team of the Year. He also finished as runner-up in the 2019 UEFA Champions League with Ajax.
Donny van de Beek is a Dutch central midfielder who rose to prominence at Ajax, where he was a key part of the team that reached the 2019 UEFA Champions League semi-finals. He later moved to Manchester United in 2020 but struggled for regular playing time, leading to loan spells at Everton and Eintracht Frankfurt. In 2024, he joined La Liga side Girona FC to revive his career.
Van de Beek is known for his intelligent movement off the ball, late runs into the box, and ability to link play between midfield and attack. He excels in tight spaces with quick passing and has a keen eye for goal from midfield, but his lack of pace and physicality can be a disadvantage in high-intensity leagues. His tactical discipline and work rate make him a versatile option in central or attacking midfield roles.
